TransPerfect has global headquarters in New York, with regional headquarters in London and Hong Kong.Responsibilities:Collaborate with various members of the Production team to assess the scope of work and produce cost and timeline estimates for translation projects and requestsInitiate all project-related work by providing detailed budget, schedule and instructions to the project team, anticipating pitfalls or potential roadblocks to successful completionWith the support of other team members, oversee the progress of ongoing jobs and help ensure that they are on track on a day-to-day basisTake a proactive role in learning about clients industry, business needs and company culture, educating the Project team where possible, and committing to providing a high level of serviceHelp with the planning of tasks such as internal reports, data collection and accurate data inputWhere needed (and under mentor/supervisor supervision), discuss issues with clients and Production teams and creatively propose solutions to alleviate issuesSupport the team in ensuring that client expectations are metActively participate in internal meetings and in various team training sessions as well as participate in calls with clients where necessaryQualifications:To be enrolled in a university who are able to work with NUBE to provide an internship agreement for a minimum of 6 monthsRequired Skills:Excellent written and verbal English communication skills (other languages would be an asset)Excellent organizational and time-management skillsStrong problem-solving skills and learning adaptabilityAbility to work well with people from a variety of different backgrounds and cultures, work independently and as part of a teamDetailed oriented and quality drivenStrong interpersonal skillsProactive, can-do attitudeStrong MS Office/computer skillsTransPerfect provides equal employment opportunities to all individuals regardless of their race, color, creed, religion, gender, age, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by local law.
