At Swissport, we are guided by our core values of Showing You Care, Doing the Right Things and Winning as a Team, and we are currently seeking dedicated people, who align with these values, to join our team in multiple locations across the world.Job SummaryPlan, organize and control all daily activities of the OCC Units, responsible for control of OCC in LATAM.Job ResponsibilitiesImplement new technology and processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the dispatch center.Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures to minimize accidents and incidents.Manage inventory levels and reduce waste.Facilitate effective communication between the management team and the workforce.Fostered a positive team culture by encouraging open communication and providing support to team members.Led a team of OCC supervisors and coordinators, providing guidance, training, and supportImplemented and monitored key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and evaluate the performance of the OCCCoordinated with various departments and stakeholders ensuring that all aspects of the service were running smoothly and efficientlyEnsure safety policies and procedures are adhered toEnsure all operational KPIs are correctly measured, followed up and reportedIn cooperation with the unit managers, manage and optimize the organizational structure in line with the unit objectivesCoordinate and follow up all processes: manage long-term flight information, coordinate and follow up distribution tasks, process and monitor real time flight information, follow up all load planning related activities and issuesMeet with customers concerning delays and contestationsCoordinate all units in the administration and reporting area.Maintain good operational relations with external stakeholders such as customers, airport authorities, CAA, Immigration, CustomsInvestigate and report irregularities in line with the established procedures and take appropriate actionsEscalate decisions that require approval to deviate from Swissport or local procedures to the Station ManagerQualifications and CompetenciesUniversity degree or equivalent3-5 years of managerial experience in the ground handling operationsExperience in OCC and Load ControlExcellent leadership skills with a proven track record of managing peopleAbility to work under pressureExcellent oral and written communication skillsExcellent organizational skills with attention to detail.Fluent or advanced English is mandatoryEspanish desirable
