ITTConnect is seeking two Senior Apigee Developers to work remotely for one of our clients in the USA.
This is a position with a global leader in consulting, digital transformation, technology and engineering services present in nearly 50 countries.
The end client is in the Telecom area.Technical skills:Experience creating API proxy configuration on APIGEE products; APIGEE X preferredDebugging API proxy configurations involving authentication, routing and API chainingExperience with creating and using APIGEE shared flows, reusable configurationEvaluating and resolving dependencies for API proxy configuration in APIGEEExperience using POSTMAN, SOAP UI and other API clients for testing REST and SOAP APIsExperience working with Authentication schemes like OAuth, API keys, Basic authentication, MTLSExperience working with Javascript, Java, shell scriptingExperience working with API gatewaysExperience working with SplunkExperience working with handling XML and JSON payloads, XPATH, JSON PathDocument technical changes and promote to production stepsExperience working with JIRA for work intake and defect trackingCommunication skills:Communicate clearly and timely the ongoing tasks and challengesWork with customer for testing, debugging and assist in onboarding client appsWork as part of a team in sharing solutions and collaborating to deliver work productsHighly desired additional skills:Able to review API proxy configuration and documentation to ensure compliance with organization and customer best practicesCapable of creating and implementing reusable configurationUnderstanding of Kubernetes, operating systems, firewalls, load balancers, identity providers and enterprise networksExperience working with client and server certificates, TLS, IP whitelistsAble to participate in operations reviews and ensure implementation of feedback itemsWilling to review requirements and provide feedback on feasibility of implementation and level of effort, dependencies and bottlenecksAble to recognize potential issues and bring them up to ensure early resolution (proactivity).
