ITTConnect is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer / DevOps to work remotely for a client in the US.
This is a position with a global leader in consulting, digital transformation, technology and engineering services present in nearly 50 countries.
The end client is in the Telecom area (internet, mobile, cable TV provider).
Initial assignment until December.Job location: Remote, work from home anywhere in Brazil, following US Eastern time.All interviews will be in English only (must be professionally fluent).
Requirements:5+ yrs of experience maintaining applications and ensuring system reliability Exposure to managing cloud-hosted environment and make necessary changes to server configurations Ability to work in a multi-vendor setting.
Servant leadership mindset required Experience with network configuration including monitoring and managing networks and servers, SSL Cert renewals, VM management, firewall changes, system upgrades and patchesExperience authoring and automating command line scripts (Shell/Unix)Exposure to automating repetitive tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce costsAbility to integrate into an existing Ops teamAnthos exposure desired but not mandatory Tools: Splunk, New Relic, Power BI, SQL queries.
