Responsibilities Prepare / review tax returns according to relevant regulations, ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax returns for the company.
Review the taxes calculated by the OEM.
Improve internal tax management system, ensure effective internal control and mitigate tax risks if any.
Directly and independently handle with tax audits, disputes and litigation.
Response to daily tax enquiries from business teams, clients or business partners, including but not limit to contract review, invoice matter, and so on.
Identify opportunities for tax savings and risk mitigation.
Prepared the applications to relevant tax incentives, if applicable.
Assist in developing and implement tax planning strategies to optimize the organization s tax position.
Participate in the implementation of digital tax system project for the company, ensure alignment between technology and tax requirements.
Actively paying attention to and provide insights on changes to federal and state tax laws to make sure that the proper planning, compliance, and reporting are planned.Requirements Bachelor s degree in Taxation, Accounting, Finance, Law or related field, professional certification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
Past experience in smartphone industry, consumer electronics industry and manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
Has at least 8 years of work experience in corporate tax, VAT, withholding tax, etc.
Proven experience as a Tax Manager or in a similar tax leadership role.
In-depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations for Brazil.
Excellent strategic and analytical thinking with detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
Experience in a multinational company.
Advanced English is required (daily contact with China).
Quick learning ability on company s business model and new tax laws/practices.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
