This position supports and transforms existing and new mission critical and highly-visible operational website(s) and applications - spanning multiple technology stacks - through all phases of SDLC, while working collaboratively across IT, business, and third party suppliers from around the globe in a 24x7, fast-paced, and Agile based environment.ResponsibilitiesParticipate in Data Governance meeting to provide guidance and advocate how we can help the business be more successful, including participation with Data Management organizations to Define ownership, usage, security and quality for all dataWork directly with Data Analysts, Solution Architects and Vendors to understand and validate requirements and translate business requirements into technical requirements and designsDevelop strategies for data acquisitions, archive recovery, and implementation of a database.Logical design of Databases, Data Warehouses and Multidimensional Databases including data flows, conception model and logical modelsServe as a consulting resource for Delivery and SupportCreate strategy and recommendations on a company s future data and tech policiesCollaborate with other team members to build the ideal database, data integration and business intelligence infrastructure and platformsEstablish Data Architecture Design Patterns and best practicesForward thinking on new technologies and patternsTechnology strategy and roadmapsSkills must have Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Data ArchitectExtensive knowledge of data warehouse and BI techniquesIn depth hands on working experience with Azure Synapse and Data Pipelines to ingest data from Azure (such as ADLS Gen 2.0) and non-Azure sources to SynapseWorking knowledge of Azure Devops CI/CD pipelines to promote Synapse Databases and Data pipelines from non-production to production environments.In depth hands on working experience of Data modeling and Database DesignIn depth hands on working experience of SQL, NoSQL and Big Data knowledgeIn depth understanding of Azure Database Security Particularly Encryption, Obfuscation, Role based Access control, etc.Strong analytical and problem solving skillsTools knowledge for Data DisciplinesBackground in computer science and database management Relational DBAzure SQL , Azure Synapse, ADLS Gen 2.0 NonRelationalCosmos Data IntegrationAzure Data Factory, Logic apps, Eventhub , EventGrid, Service Bus,Nice to haveAzure Devops (CI/CD)CosmosLANGUAGESEnglish: B2 Upper Intermediate
