Join us and be part of a dynamic team that is setting new standards in the industry.The Operations and Logistics Coordinator oversees and coordinates all aspects of the supply chain operations on a global scale.
This includes managing transportation, warehousing, and distribution to ensure the efficient movement of goods, compliance with international regulations, and optimization of costs.
The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence and align logistics strategies with business objectivesKey Responsibilities:Strategic PlanningDevelop and implement regional logistics strategies to optimize supply chain performance.Meaning how do we support/optimize order fulfillment for the marketRisk and Compliance3PL and customer fulfillment requirements/VASAnalyze current supply chain processes and identify areas for improvement.Understand and optimize the lifecycle of an order and ensure its deliveryLogistics ManagementManage the end-to-end logistics process, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.Oversee international shipping, customs, and compliance with local regulations.Negotiate and manage contracts with freight forwarders, carriers, and other logistics providers.Operations ManagementLead Operational Excellence: Oversee & enhance customer service experience across omni channel distribution modelExecution Agility: Ability to manage data entry from multiple platforms, intuitive inventory allocation, overall operational excellence in support of optimal service levelsDrive productivity: Drive the teams daily productivity and KPIs to ensure order timeliness and optimal throughputManage Order flow: Improve fill rates, on time shipping, shipping accuracyStreamline shipping: ensure the orders are shipping on time in the most cost-effective mannerData Analysis: Create, analyze reporting tools manage the operations in the most efficient and effective mannerProcess Improvement: Enforce adherence to SOP, regularly review all processes for efficiency and effectiveness, and propose changes where necessaryCost OptimizationMonitor logistics budgets and reduce operational costs while maintaining service quality.Optimize freight costs by consolidating shipments, analyzing routing options, and leveraging economies of scale.Technology IntegrationUtilize data analytics to track KPIs, forecast demand, and improve supply chain visibility.Team LeadershipFoster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Risk and ComplianceEnsure compliance with international trade regulations and company policies.Develop contingency plans to mitigate risks such as delays, disruptions, or unforeseen costs.Stakeholder CommunicationCollaborate with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery and satisfaction.Provide regular updates to senior management on logistics performance and challenges.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Operations or related field (Master s degree preferred).Experience:5+ years of experience in operations and/or logistics, supply chain management, or related roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.
Fulfillment and allocation experienceProven experience managing global logistics and international shipping.Skills:Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.Excellent negotiation and communication skills.Excellent command of English and ability to write and interact with Sales team and customers dailyProficiency in logistics management software and ERP systems.Proficiency in English is required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to facilitate clear and productive interactions.Languages: English and Portuguese (Spanish would be appreciated).EDI Proficiency: Orders, Labels and ASN processingMicrosoft Suite Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Outlook to navigate and analyze data effectively.Independent and Collaborative: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team, fostering a cohesive work environment.Prioritization Skills: Skillful at prioritizing tasks and handling multiple responsibilities in a dynamic, fast-paced work setting.Key CompetenciesStrategic ThinkingLeadership and Team ManagementFinancial AcumenKnowledge of International Trade Laws and RegulationsSupply Chain Optimization
