We re powered by our people a global, diverse, multi-generational talent - representing 161 nationalities whose unique spark, perspective and boundless passion drive our culture of proactive value creation and problem-solving.To learn more about how we can supercharge progress for you, visit www.hcltech.comCore Responsibilities· Evaluate existing database systems and infrastructure to understand the scope andrequirements of the migration.· Develop detailed migration plans, including timelines, resources, and risk assessments toensure a smooth transition.· Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading ETL processes to move data fromsource to target systems.· Implement necessary database schema changes and optimize performance during themigration process.· Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security throughout the migration.· Conduct comprehensive testing of migrated databases to ensure they meet functionality,performance, and security standards.· Identify and resolve any data discrepancies or issues that arise during or after the migration.
· Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, business units, and external vendors, to align migration strategies with business objectives.
· Provide regular updates and reports on migration progress, challenges, and resolutions to stakeholders.
· Maintain detailed documentation of migration processes, configurations, and any changes made to the database systems.
· Ensure compliance with data protection regulations, industry standards, and company policies throughout the migration process.
· Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for migrated databases to address any issues that may arise.
