Responsibilities:Write effective Rust code to tackle complex issuesImplement new features with a focus on memory safety, ownership rules, and type correctnessRefactor existing Rust code while maintaining functionality and performanceDebug and fix memory safety, ownership, and concurrency-related issuesSet up and manage Rust development environments including handling dependencies and feature flagsEnsure best practices in Rust development, including proper error handling, concurrency safety, and efficient memory usageRequirements:Strong experience with Rust programming language concepts, including ownership, borrowing, and lifetimesIndustry experience and knowledge of code quality, formatting, and best practices of software developmentFamiliarity with Rust frameworks and librariesExperience with Rust s testing ecosystem, including unit, integration, and property-based testing.Knowledge of multi-threading and asynchronous programming in Rust.Ability to work with architectural patterns and refactor code without introducing regressions.Strong debugging skills, including fixing memory and concurrency issues.3+ years of overall work experience with 2+ years of relevant experience with RustFluent in conversational and written English communication skillsThis role provides an opportunity to work on challenging Rust engineering problems while improving AI-assisted programming workflows.
