Project descriptionBuilding a risk applications and tools for innovative international top-tier hedge fund from the ground up, comprising the systems for traders, pre-trade checks and analysis, risks and limits management, reports of trading activities, FIX connectivity, market data providers connectivity (e.g.
Bloomberg B-pipe), etc The Team is focused on the development and maintenance of various database applications supporting Risk Management.
The successful candidate will have considerable and proven experience in database design, PL/SQL development, a good working knowledge of end-user and server-side data processing techniques, a good understanding of SDLC and agile development methodologiesResponsibilitiesDeveloping business friendly data models.
Migration from SQL Server -> Fabric and/or AzureSkillsMust haveStrong understanding of data modelling and data quality principlesExperience across data architecture and data warehousing techniques and practices is essential (experience migrating SQL to Fabric).Proven experience in designing and developing data models using industry best practicesExperience in using code management and CI/CD tools such as Github, Azure Devops, Jenkins, Bamboo etc.Senior (10+ years) MS SQL Server developer/architect.Azure fabric servi e experience10+ years of experience working with ETL tools such as SSIS, ADF or similar.Good understanding and demonstrated experience working with Power Query (M query language) and DAX.Management of Power BI datasets, workspaces and the associated security requirements.Familiarity with Power BI Premium capabilities, Power BI Rest APIs, Python and Databricks will be highly regarded.Extensive experience designing and developing reports and performance metrics from complex and disparate platformsNice to haveExperience with AzureRisks trading system development experience.Business knowledge in trading domain / capitalLANGUAGESEnglish: C1 Advanced
