The HR Director will act as a key business partner, providing leadership in areas such as talent management, employee relations, organizational development, and compliance with local labor laws.
This role reports to the chief people officer and will manage a team of 3.Strategic HR LeadershipDevelop and implement HR strategies that align with business goals across LATAM.Partner with senior leadership to drive organizational change and workforce planning.Lead HR transformation initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in the region.Talent Acquisition & ManagementOversee recruitment strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent.Implement talent management and succession planning programs to build leadership pipelines.Drive employer branding initiatives to position the company as an employer of choice in LATAM.Employee Relations & ComplianceEnsure adherence to local labor laws and employment regulations across multiple LATAM countries.Lead employee relations efforts, including conflict resolution, investigations, and disciplinary actions.Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture, ensuring diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives are embedded in HR practices.Compensation & BenefitsDevelop competitive compensation and benefits programs in alignment with market trends and global total rewards team.Oversee performance management processes, ensuring fair and transparent reward structures.Collaborate with finance and global HR teams on budget planning for HR initiatives.HR Operations & SystemsEnsure smooth HR operations, including payroll, HRIS management, and policy implementation.Leverage HR analytics and metrics to drive data-driven decision-making.Monitor and improve employee engagement through surveys and action plansQualifications & SkillsBachelor s degree or equivalent experience in human resources or management.Minimum 10+ years of HR leadership experience, preferably in a multinational or regional role within LATAM.Strong knowledge of labor laws and employment regulations across multiple LATAM countries.Strong strategic thinking and ability to influence and support senior leadership.Proven ability to lead HR teams across multiple countries.Excellent communication skills in Spanish/Portugues and English (fluency required).Ability to travel across LATAM as required.
