Our mission is to create unique, high-performance devices that meet the diverse needs of our global customers.Job Overview: We are looking for an experienced Esports and Gaming Manager to join our dynamic team at Infinix Mobility Global.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in gaming and esports, with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
You will play a crucial role in shaping and executing our esports strategy, enhancing brand awareness, and driving community engagement.
This role requires someone who is passionate about esports trends, has excellent project management skills, and can effectively communicate and influence stakeholders at all levels.Key Responsibilities:Esports Initiatives:Lead the development and execution of global esports initiatives for Infinix, including securing partnership entitlements with key esports stakeholders such as game publishers.Drive Infinix brand awareness and positioning within the esports industry, establishing Infinix as a leading gaming mobile brand.Oversee comprehensive esports planning from strategy to execution, including brand positioning, community initiatives, production, and key messaging on a global scale.Marketing planning, Content and Community Management:Lead the creation and management of marketing and content planning that aligns with esports and gaming, integrating Infinix products into the narrative.Build and strengthen the Infinix Community through engagement initiatives and projects, such as UGC campaigns, awards program, and other community-building activities.Position Infinix as a foundational brand pillar within the esports and gaming community.Have local sense for gaming trend and gaming community topicInfinix XclubEnhance the Infinix community platform, X-CLUB, focusing on user acquisition, retention, and engagement.Plan and execute esports initiatives that drive traffic to X-CLUB and leverage the platform for esports campaigns.Curate and populate content within X-CLUB, developing programs that encourage content creation and community interaction.Qualifications:MUST be fluent in English and PortugueseAt least 5 years of experience in esports, gaming, or a related field, with a proven track record of driving successful esports initiatives.Strong knowledge of global esports trends, including MOBA, FPS, and mobile esports.Excellent project management skills, with the ability to work backwards from deadlines and collaborate cross-functionally with different teams.Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships with stakeholders, including C-level executives and team members across the organization.Passion for gaming and esports, with a deep understanding of the gaming community and its dynamics.Bonus:Experience working in a global or regional role within the gaming or esports industry.Proven ability to develop and execute community engagement strategies.Familiarity with content creation and digital marketing within the gaming sector.
