Freelance Opportunity Web Developer for Augmented Reality Experience (WebAR)Project Description:We are looking for a web developer with experience in web-based augmented reality (WebAR) to create an immersive, interactive experience accessible directly through a mobile browser, with no need for apps or closed SDKs.The goal of the project is to deliver a lightweight and responsive experience that allows users to navigate through a 360° environment using device sensors (gyroscope), with interactive points and associated content.The project must be delivered with open, reusable source code.Responsibilities:Build an interactive WebAR scene rendered in mobile browsers, using a 360° environment based on pre-processed images (cubemap or spherical structure).Implement interactive points (MarkPoints) with visual icons and textual content, dynamically defined via an external data structure (e.g., .json, JS array).Ensure compatibility with device sensors (gyroscope/accelerometer) for natural navigation.Organize the project in a modular and reusable structure, with minimal but clear documentation.Suggested Tech Stack:Required:Three.jsVanilla JavaScriptWebXR / DeviceOrientation APIsPreferred:A-FramePython or Node.js (in case image pre-processing or automation is required)Experience with mobile-first and lightweight performanceTechnical Requirements:The background image will be processed into multiple parts (cubemap: 6 or 8 files) and applied to the scene as textures.Interactive points must be positionable using simple coordinates and customizable (title + description).The project must be delivered with all open files (HTML, JS, CSS), with no compilations, obfuscation, or dependency on closed services.Content must be changeable via URL parameters, JS variables, or external calls.Nice to Have:Portfolio with WebAR, 360 experiences, immersive navigation, or interactive 3D content.Experience with WebXR, A-Frame, Aframe-Cubemap, etc.Ability to deliver screenshot functionality or additional interaction features
