The successful individual will be able to combine their industry experience with a vision for further development in a dynamic and supportive environment.The Infrastructure (desktop) Engineering team based is primarily responsible for the maintenance and engineering of the firm s global desktop and VDI environment, along with various on premise and cloud based end user services.Responsibilities: Software Packaging & rollout, with required Support documentation & knowledge transfer Development, configuration & support of On-premise and Cloud based End User Services (e.g Microsoft 365)o Including application, endpoint and mobile device management Provide escalated support & troubleshooting of VMWare Horizon VDI environment Active Directory & Entra ID configuration, maintenance & administration Provide 3rd line support for the Desktop environment, applications and hardware Vulnerability & Software update management for Microsoft & 3rd party applications, OS & hardware Manage, monitor & maintain file transfer services for internal & External clients Desktop environment lifecycle development & automation Proactive performance & reliability analysis, leading to continuous improvement of the Desktop environment Collaborate with Internal & External Customers/Vendors to pro-actively obtain information regarding applications for packaging, problem solving or escalation.Mandatory Skills Description: Packaging experience with MECM/Intune Experience and strong knowledge of Linux PowerShell scripting Advanced VDI Administration & Troubleshooting Advanced Active directory administration including GPO, Intune Good understanding of control principles - Release, Change Management, etc Used to working to best practice methodologies such as ITIL Microsoft Office Suite 2016/365.
