ITTConnect is seeking an AWS Network Engineer to work remotely for a client in the US.
This is a potentially long term position with a client that is a global leader in consulting, digital transformation, technology and engineering services with over 300,000 team members in nearly 50 countries.
The end client is in the telecom space.Job location: Remote, work from home, anywhere in Brazil.Only resumes in English will be reviewed.

All interviews will be in English only.We are seeking a Senior Networking Engineer with experience in AWS cloud networking to help with the design, implementation, and optimization of the client s global network infrastructure.
This role requires deep expertise in cloud networking architectures, hybrid cloud connectivity, and large-scale network operations.
The ideal candidate will drive strategic initiatives, ensure high availability, security, and performance, and serve as a thought leader in cloud networking best practices.Key Responsibilities:Support hybrid cloud and multi-cloud networking solutions, integrating on-premises and cloud environments securely and efficiently.Design and implement Software defined networking architecture for distributed applicationsMake necessary design updates to existing dynamic routing architecture to allow for migration of services to cloud based platformModify network connectivity and infrastructure for inter-DC, on-premises to cloud, and cloud-to-cloud connections to support greenfield and transitional initiatives, ensuring network requirements for internal and external services accessing cloud platforms are metAbility to lead effort to deploy complex end-to-end large scale network architectures.Understand current-state and end-state network architecture goals as provided and make recommendations for improvements and modifications as required.Deploy third-party Network Virtual Appliances (NVAs) for routing and filtering to ensure secure, reliable, and feature-rich connectivity between application tiers in the cloud and on-premisesIdentify the network automation requirements that will streamline deployments and improve operational efficiency with platforms such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Python, or Ansible.Ensure security and compliance by implementing best practices, for zero-trust within all networking infrastructure and connectivity within data centers, colocations facilities, edge location, public and private cloudTroubleshoot complex networking issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance through monitoring, logging, and observability tools (e.g., AWS CloudWatch, VPC Flow Logs, ELK, or Prometheus).Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Software Engineering teams to design and maintain scalable and resilient network architectures.Evaluate and implement new networking technologies, staying ahead of industry trends and AWS networking advancements.
Required Qualifications:8-10 years of experience in network engineering, with a strong focus on delivering complex architectures for large-scale network environments Expert level knowledge of networking technology, including Routing/Switching, Firewalls, and Load Balancing solutions for multi-vendor environmentNetwork Architecture experience with Public Cloud deployments within AWSExtensive experience in planning and executing network assessments for medium to large environments.Solid practical experience with Software-Defined Data Centers (SDDC), Network Function Virtualization (NFV), VxLAN, and Data Center Spine-leafProficiency in network automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, Python, or AnsibleExperience with hybrid cloud connectivity and cloud interconnects.Proficiency in AWS networking services (VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, PrivateLink, ALB/NLB, Route 53, Global Accelerator).Hands-on experience with monitoring and troubleshooting tools such as AWS CloudWatch, Wireshark, NetFlow, and ThousandEyes.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex, high-impact network issues.Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience mentoring teams and leading cross-functional initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications:CCIE (Service Provider / Enterprise / Data Center) or equivalent certification.AWS Certified Advanced Networking Specialty or equivalent certification.Experience with multi-cloud networking (Azure, GCP) and SDN architectures.Familiarity with Kubernetes networking (CNI plugins, Istio, service mesh).Experience with DDoS mitigation and security tools such as AWS Shield, WAF, and NACLs.
