About the Job:Our client, developed by a venture-backed technology firm based in Silicon Valley, is recognized as a leader in construction pricing data and is looking for a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer to join their team.As a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer, the role involves:You ll play a pivotal role in shaping both the frontend and backend architecture, ensuring seamless performance, scalability, and a best-in-class user experience across mobile and web.
This role goes beyond coding you ll be deeply involved in understanding contractor workflows, using AI-powered automation to simplify processes, and driving the technical evolution of the platform.
You ll collaborate closely with design, product, and AI teams to build a high-impact, user-centric system.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild High-Quality User Experiences: Develop scalable frontend and backend systems, including APIs, services, and interfaces, to support AI-driven workflows, with a focus on usability, speed, and performance.Lead Frontend Excellence: Serve as a primary contributor to the frontend codebase, setting high standards in code quality, testing, and scalability, and taking ownership of major features.Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner closely with product, design, engineering, and AI teams to align on requirements and ensure that solutions deliver seamless, cohesive user experiences.Mentor and Support Team Growth: Provide constructive code reviews, share knowledge, and mentor fellow engineers, contributing to a collaborative, high-performing team.Drive Continuous Improvement: Evaluate and adopt new tools, frameworks, and processes to improve frontend performance, efficiency, and code reliability, always with the customer experience in mind.About YouEducation: Bachelor s degree (or similar) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Experience: 7+ years in frontend and backend development, with a proven track record of building scalable, high-performance applications.Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in React, React Native, TypeScript, Node.js, Python, SQL, and cloud-based architectures.
Experience optimizing both frontend and backend performance for web and mobile platforms.Customer-Focused Mindset: Committed to understanding user needs and using this insight to build intuitive, impactful solutions.Code Quality Advocate: Write clean, maintainable, and testable code while enforcing best practices in software development.Performance Optimization Skills: Experience improving API response times, frontend rendering speed, and database efficiency.Cross-Functional Collaboration Skills: Experienced in working with design and product teams to deliver cohesive solutions, with clear and proactive communication.Adaptability: Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, quick to adapt to changing priorities, and able to balance rapid iteration with high-quality outputs.Startup Experience: Proven experience working in a startup environment is a must.We re looking for candidates based in São Paulo or those excited to relocate To make the transition easier, we offer a comprehensive relocation package to support you every step of the way.What s in it for you?Competitive salary in US dollars, ranging from $72,000 - $100,000 per year.
