Lead Turbomachinery Engineer Brazil Offshore & Onshore Support Full-time | Oil & Gas | Engineering & MaintenanceReady to take the lead on powerful machines that keep offshore production running?We re looking for a Lead Turbomachinery Engineer to drive performance and reliability across key rotating equipment on offshore platforms.
If you re passionate about turbines, compressors, pumps, and all things that spin and know how to keep them running smoothly in high-pressure environments this role is for you.
What You ll Be Doing:Act as the go-to expert for turbomachinery: gas turbines, compressors, pumps, and control systems.Lead the troubleshooting and root cause analysis of performance issues and equipment failures.Develop smart maintenance strategies to reduce downtime and boost reliability.Oversee major overhauls, upgrades, and inspections working closely with OEMs and vendors.Collaborate with offshore teams to plan and execute maintenance campaigns.Review technical documentation, ensuring compliance and safety standards are always met.Support long-term planning, CAPEX projects, and asset optimization efforts.Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of technical excellence.
What You Bring:A degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar).8+ years of hands-on experience with turbomachinery in oil & gas offshore preferred.Strong understanding of rotating equipment in mature field operations.Solid experience with OEM systems (Solar Turbines, Siemens, GE, MAN, etc.).Know-how in condition monitoring, predictive maintenance, and performance tools.Great communicator with a team-player mindset you know how to get things done across cultures and time zones.Fluent in English (Portuguese is a big plus ).
