Our client is seeking an experienced and results-driven Manufacturing Manager to oversee all aspects of our manufacturing operations in Campinas.
The Manufacturing Manager will lead a team of supervisors, technicians, and production staff to ensure efficient production processes, high-quality output, and adherence to safety and compliance standards.
This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills to drive operational excellence, optimize resources, and support our client s commitment to delivering world-class products.Key Responsibilities:Operational Oversight: Manage daily manufacturing operations, including production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet production targets and customer demands.Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of production supervisors, operators, and support staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve product quality using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other methodologies.Quality Assurance: Ensure all products meet our client s quality standards by collaborating with the Quality Control team and implementing robust quality assurance processes.Safety & Compliance: Maintain a safe and compliant work environment by enforcing OSHA regulations, company policies, and industry standards; conduct regular safety audits and training.Budget Management: Develop and manage departmental budgets, monitor expenses, and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or efficiency.Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination: Work closely with supply chain and procurement teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components, minimizing production delays.Performance Metrics: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as production output, downtime, and defect rates; report progress to senior leadership and recommend corrective actions as needed.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, R&D, and sales teams to support new product introductions, process changes, and customer-specific requirements.Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to drive operational excellence, including employee training programs, equipment upgrades, and technology adoption.Qualifications:Bachelor s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (Master s degree preferred).7+ years of experience in manufacturing management, preferably in the HVAC, refrigeration, or consumer goods industries.Proven track record of leading teams and driving operational improvements in a fast-paced production environment.Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies (certification is a plus).Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and manufacturing software for production planning and inventory management.Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire diverse teams.Solid understanding of OSHA regulations, safety protocols, and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).Analytical mindset with experience using data to drive decision-making and improve performance.Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
