Senior Engineer API Development to support the WESS application, an Appian-based solution.
The candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing asynchronous APIs that gather and process data from a Data Lake, ensuring seamless integration with Appian solution.
Key Technical Skills & Experience Required:Node.js & TypeScript (backend development)API Design & Development (RESTful & event-driven asynchronous APIs)AWS Services (Lambda, SQS, EventBridge, S3, Secrets Manager)Apigee API Gateway (management, security)Data Lake Integration (Athena, Glue, or equivalent)API Security & Performance OptimizationCI/CD Pipelines (Jenkins) Candidate Profile:Advanced proficiency in English (both written and spoken)Experience integrating APIs with Appian or other BPM tools is a plusStrong problem-solving and debugging skillsExperience working in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban)Ability to collaborate with data engineers, DevOps, and business teamsStrong documentation and API governance mindset
