Visit our website www.samsung.com or our career page HERE Position Summary The Latin America Retail & Trade Marketing Manager will be responsible for design and execute top-notch localized trade marketing strategies, ensuring timely delivery to drive business growth.
Lead the field force management developing effective regional strategies and guidelines tailored to local conditions, and lead their implementation.
Identify, create and capitalize on sales opportunities by leveraging retail data analysis, preventing missed sales and uncovering up-selling opportunities.He or she will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing and identifying key external and internal strategic opportunities and issues of customer journey and customer experience at physical & digital point of sales at a regional level.
Having a regional role, the candidate will focus on retail & trade marketing strategies and results, while countries teams are primarily responsible for execution and operations management.He or she will interact with key global, regional and subsidiary stakeholders and partners, analyze and discuss market, competitors, marketing & retail strategy and other elements to build a strategic action plan to improve category regional marketing performance.The candidate must become a trusted retail advisor for the subsidiaries and to HQ, and must be able to read the political environment and well articulate propositions to different levels of stakeholders.This job will grant the professional an opportunity to develop his/her strategic thinking and business vision skills by allowing interactions with executives across different areas such as Sales, Marketing, Product, etc.
and also regional experience with scope encompassing all Latin America countries.The position covers all consumer electronics category such as mobile devices (mobile phones, tablets, wireless phones, smart watches, etc), television, soundbars, home appliances (refrigerator, washing machine, air conditioning, vacuum cleaners, etc.) and services.Roles and responsibilitiesGTM Management: Manager the Retail GTM (Go-To-Market) developing effective strategies to successfully launch new products or services in the market.
This involves working closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure a seamless and successful market entry.Retail strategy planning: Drive the mid and long-term retail strategy by analyzing market trends, retailer dynamics, and competitor activities.Field force strategy and guideline planning: Develop and implement field force management strategies tailored to regional needs, ensuring alignment with retail strategies & guidelines.Sales promotion contents development: Create & implement sales promotion contents (such as sales talk) and training content | tools to boost field force sales skills.Campaign & promotional material development: Develop innovative and engaging marketing campaigns materials that resonate with target audiences, creating high-quality promotional materials, such as brochures, flyers, and digital assets, to support marketing initiatives.
Deep understanding of material production process, material distribution & installation.Training planning and execution: Design and execute a comprehensive training plan & materials to enhance field force capabilities and expand local reach.Cooperative retail methodology development: Develop and present cooperative retail methodologies tailored to each retailer s operation standards.Retail data analysis: Identify and address potential sales issues through in-depth retail data analysis & action plan implementation.Retail KPI (Key Performance Index) management: Manage the operation of retail performance metrics, including sell-out rates, out-of-stock situations, and new model store coverage.Manage retail content creation & training agencies teams and 1 supervisor.Skills and Qualifications Be able to efficiently and effectively create and update regional retail performance reports using a combination of different data sources.Be able to monitor and identify market trends, opportunities and competitors movements that could affect our business.Be able to think strategically and translate numbers and findings into strategic insights and initiatives that can improve regional performance.Be able to build and maintain relationship with key stakeholders at global, regional and subsidiary level in order to gather, discuss and implement the strategic initiatives.Be able to coordinate many tasks at the same time and be result deliver orientedBe able to do public presentation in English.
(Spanish is a differential).Be resilient and flexible to deal with fast change environments.Be a very good team and collaboration worker.Background & EducationExperience in marketing, trade-marketing, brand, digital marketing and planning.
Knowledge in regional retail & trade marketing management is a differential.Excellent skills in presentation creation (storytelling, layouts & objectives).
Ability to craft compelling narratives that engage audiences and convey key messages effectively.
Proficiency in designing visually appealing and organized presentations that enhance comprehension and retention.
