Job Title: QA Engineer (Mobile Applications)About the Role: We re looking for an experienced QA Engineer to join our team and play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our mobile applications on both iOS and Android platforms.
This role includes testing front-end mobile applications, validating API endpoints, verifying database entries, and maintaining the quality of CMS-administered content.IMPORTANT: THIS ROLE REQUIRES FLUENCY IN BOTH SPOKEN AND WRITTEN ENGLISHResponsibilities:Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans and detailed test cases for mobile applications.Conduct rigorous regression, smoke, functional, and exploratory testing across iOS and Android platforms.Utilize Postman to verify and validate API endpoints and integrations.Verify data accuracy and consistency within database entries and the admin CMS.Identify, document, and track software defects clearly and efficiently using bug tracking tools.Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand product requirements and ensure comprehensive testing coverage.Perform regular regression testing to ensure stability and consistency after releases.Actively contribute to continuous improvement in QA processes, tools, and techniques.Writing and maintaining release notes across different projects and versionsQualifications:Minimum 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, specifically with mobile applications for both iOS and Android.Solid experience using Postman for API testing.Familiarity with database validation (SQL databases, MongoDB) and verifying data integrity.Experience with testing content and data managed through admin CMS platforms.Proficient in writing clear and thorough test plans, cases, and documentation.Experience managing and executing smoke and regression tests.Knowledge of bug-tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps).Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach.Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate issues and resolutions to team members.Nice-to-Have:Familiarity with automated testing frameworks for mobile apps (e.g., Appium, XCTest, Espresso).Experience with continuous integration tools and workflows.Background in Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum or Kanban.
